WELCOME TO THE VALLEY

Your cards. Your farm.

Atlas Acres is a farming game powered by your Public Atlas Study progress. Your existing saved reviews count when you first visit.

  1. Study to earn. Every saved card rating gives you 2 energy + 2 coins. Scheduled review, learning repeats, and custom practice all count. Again earns the same as Easy—rate your memory honestly.
  2. Harvest your first wheat. Two golden fields are ready when you arrive. Tap them in the 3D farm or choose Harvest ready.
  3. Plant something new. Choose a seed in Fields, then select an empty plot. Planting costs 1 energy plus the seed’s coins. Use Plant empty to plant as many empty fields as your current energy and coins allow, in one action. A harvest starts at 3 crops; basket upgrades increase it. Timers keep moving while you study or close the page; crops never spoil.
  4. Care, create, deliver. Feed chickens wheat for eggs. Use your windmill to make flour. Unlock more animal homes and workshops by studying. Complete neighbors’ orders for a better price, or sell spare items from your barn.
  5. Make it yours. Expand to 24 fields, fill 12 garden spots, change your farm’s name, choose the lighting, and earn new building colors. Claim study and farming milestones in Journey. Rotating Valley Projects combine card reviews, harvests, crafting, and deliveries for bonus coins and energy. Claim a finished project to begin the next; there are no deadlines.
Companion planting

Grow a varied garden for bigger harvests. Each matching companion directly above, below, left, or right adds 1 crop when you plant, up to +2 per field. The six-column layout stays the same on phones and computers. Gold +1 and +2 chips show your bonus before planting; Plant empty chooses the best bonus fields first.

Companion pairs: wheat & carrot, carrot & lavender, lavender & strawberry, strawberry & pumpkin, pumpkin & corn, and corn & wheat.

The bonus is saved when planted and stays even after you harvest a neighbor. It adds to basket upgrades. Existing crops keep their original harvest; your next planting can earn the bonus.

Adventures, levels & collections

Fishing: open Explore → Fishing or tap Pond. A cast costs 2 energy and 5 coins. Read three cues: a surging fish means Release, slack means Reel, and a steady pull means Hold. There is no countdown. Every cast catches a fish; correct moves and rod upgrades improve rare-catch odds. Unlock the river at farm level 3 and the cove at 6.

Mining: start in the top row, then dig tiles connected to your explored path. Every dig costs 1 energy. Survey for 10 coins to reveal the floor. Find the stairs to generate a new floor. Gather ore, open coin caches, and discover energy springs. Iron appears from floor 2, quartz from 4, ruby from 7, and sapphire from 12.

Expeditions: 3 energy and 5 coins buys a complete trip. Choose between two paths at each stop; the rewards are shown before you choose. Four regions unlock at farm levels 1, 3, 5, and 8. Discover keepsakes, collect timber and ore, or earn extra XP. Routes keep generating new combinations of encounters.

Neighbors: trade supplies for coins, XP, and energy. Three favors raise a neighbor’s friendship level and award an upgrade star, 50 bonus coins, and 3 energy. New requests keep arriving.

Farm levels: earn XP through farming and adventures. Each level automatically gives 1 star, 4 energy, and bonus coins. Open Progress to improve six tools through ten tiers each. Farm levels continue beyond the tool upgrades; earn a legacy badge every ten levels or exchange spare stars for supplies. Study rank still controls crop and animal unlocks.

Journal & festivals: collect 12 fish, 6 minerals, and 8 expedition keepsakes. Eight complete sets award stars, coins, and XP. Selling an item keeps your discovery and fishing record. Repeatable festivals mix new activities with study goals; claim one to start the next. There are no deadlines.

Your catch, mine floor, expedition, friendships, upgrades, and discoveries save with your farm, including offline choices awaiting sync.

Controls & useful tips

Computer: click objects, drag to rotate, scroll to zoom. Right-drag to pan. With the farm focused, use arrow keys to rotate, + / − to zoom, and R to recenter.

Phone or tablet: tap objects; drag with one finger to orbit; pinch with two fingers to zoom. All farm actions are also available as ordinary buttons below the scene.

Each workshop holds two jobs. Artisan tool upgrades shorten new jobs. Collect completed products to make room. Garden decorations can be moved for free or recycled for half their purchase price. Delivery orders can be replaced for 3 coins.

Open the game while online and wait for “Ready to play offline” in the footer before disconnecting. If 3D graphics are unavailable, the same farm works through the Fields, Animals, and other controls. Graphics and sound can be adjusted in Customize. Adaptive graphics adjusts resolution to your device; Battery saver uses fewer effects. Reduced motion keeps the farm still until you interact. Tap Recenter if you lose sight of your fields.

Study rewards & saving

A review means one card rated, not one unique card. All previously saved scheduled and practice reviews count. Opening or revealing a card alone does not earn resources. Undoing and re-rating the same progress total never earns a second reward. Already-earned farm resources stay yours.

Farm actions save on this device first and upload automatically when you reconnect with the page open. Approved accounts share their farm across browsers. Guests use a browser-specific farm. Open Public Atlas Study to link or merge a guest profile with your approved account.

If two devices change the same field while offline, the first accepted action wins; an incompatible action is skipped without charging resources. You will see a sync notice. Playing on one device at a time while offline avoids conflicting choices.

Your existing account farm keeps its layout when guest study progress is merged. If the account has no farm yet, the guest farm transfers. Study progress backups include the farm. Keep this browser’s website data until pending changes sync.

There are no purchases, competitive leaderboards, spoiled crops, or penalties for taking a day off.
